Erdogan congratulates Trump over US election win
Turkish president says he looks forward to further strengthening bilateral relations
ANKARA (AA) - President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated over the phone Donald Trump for his victory in the U.S. presidential election.
Erdogan later also tweeted: "I congratulate @realDonaldTrump on being elected as the 45th President of the US and look forward to further strengthening our relations."
Trump is expected to take oath of office on Jan. 20 as the 45th president of the United States.
