Ex-Lone Wolf bikie shot dead in Sydney

ANKARA (AA) - A former member of outlawed motorcycle group Lone Wolf, Yusuf Nazlioglu, reportedly succumbed to his wounds after getting shot several times in Sydney, Australia on Tuesday, police said.

According to a news report by ABC citing a policeman, Nazlioglu was fatally ambushed by an unidentified gunman in a car park in Sydney's inner west.

Investigation sources said the attack was “targeted.”

He was shot at least 10 times, including with a bullet in the head, and was rushed to a health facility in critical condition, where he lost his life.

A probe is underway to see if the incident was linked to the murder of Mick Hawi, the head of Comanchero bikies who was killed in 2018. Nazlioglu was accused of being the killer of Hawi in 2020, however, he was found not guilty.
