Famed musicians to perform in Istanbul in 2024

Renowned music acts including The Blaze, I Monster, Portico Quartet, and Dave Weckl & Tom Kennedy Project to take stage in Istanbul

ISTANBUL (AA) - Renowned global musicians are set to take the stage in Istanbul this year.

The Blaze, a famous French electro duo, will reunite with fans after a five-year break for a live performance on May 18 at KucukCiftlik Park as part of their Jungle tour.


- I Monster in Besiktas tomorrow

British electronic music duo I Monster, made up of Sheffield-based record producers Dean Honer and Jarrod Gosling, will have their first Istanbul concert on Saturday at IF Performance Hall Besiktas.

The duo’s 2001 single Daydream in Blue reached the top 20 and appeared in countless movies, TV series, and commercials. Now they have gained new fans with their song Who is She? which has over 110 million streams on Spotify alone.


- Portico Quartet at Garanti BBVA international jazz day concerts

British modern jazz group Portico Quartet will perform at Blind, a new live music venue, on April 30 as part of Garanti BBVA international jazz day concerts.

Originally formed by university housemates in London, the group includes Duncan Bellamy (drums, hang drum), Milo Fitzpatrick (double bass, electronics), Jack Wylie (tenor and soprano saxophones), and Nick Mulvey (keyboard, hang drum).


- Dave Weckl & Tom Kennedy Project in Istanbul on Oct. 22

Renowned drummer Dave Weckl and bass guitarist Tom Kennedy will perform together in Istanbul on Oct. 22.

Accompanied by Eric Marienthal on saxophone and Stu Mindeman on keyboards, the group will perform at IF Performance Hall Besiktas.
