Yellow Canaries beat another Turkish team, CBK Mersin Yenisehir Bld, 99-60 in final of 2023 FIBA EuroLeague

ANKARA (AA) - Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding beat another Turkish team, CBK Mersin Yenisehir Bld, 99-60 in the 2023 FIBA EuroLeague Women final on Sunday to become Europe's best women's basketball team.

Breanna Stewart led the Yellow Canaries to victory with 35 points at Kralovla Arena in Prague.

Aleksandra Crvendakic, Sinem Atas, Laura Cornelius and Elizabeth Williams all contributed with 10 points each for CBK Mersin but their team failed to clinch the title.

The Yellow Canaries reached the final four times but this is the first time they clinched the title.

Italian club Famila Schio finished the tournament third by beating ZVVZ USK Prague 59-56 in the 3rd place match the same day.
