Fenerbahce Beko seize 1-0 lead over Anadolu Efes in Super Lig finals, 85-76

Game 2 to be played at Fenerbahce's home ground on Thursday

ISTANBUL (AA) - Fenerbahce Beko took a 1-0 lead against Anadolu Efes with an 85-76 victory on Tuesday in the first round of the 2022 ING Basketball Super Lig playoff finals.

Anadolu Efes were leading 20-18 at the end of the first quarter but Fenerbahce Beko had a good start in the second period, building a 19-17 lead.

The Yellow Canaries had a 59-53 lead by the end of period three as they produced 22 points at the Ulker Sports Arena.

Jan Vesely produced 17 points and seven rebounds, while Nando de Colo netted 13 points and contributed seven assists.

Devin Rydale Booker finished with 11 points.

French guard Rodrigue Beaubois was the highest scorer of Efes with 20 points and Elijah Bryant helped his team with 13 points.

Game 2 between the two Istanbul sides will be played at the same dome on Thursday.
