FIBA EuroBasket 2022 draw on Thursday

ANKARA (AA) - The draw for the 2022 European basketball championship – the FIBA EuroBasket 2022 – will be held on Thursday in Berlin.

Twenty-four nations including Turkey will compete in the EuroBasket 2022 to be hosted by Germany, Czech Republic, Italy and Georgia from Sept. 1-18, 2022.

Turkey will enter the draw in pot three with Poland, Croatia and Slovenia, which means Turkey cannot pair with these nations in the group stage. There will be four groups of six teams.

World No.15 in basketball, Turkey, will play group matches in the Georgian capital Tbilisi.

The group stage draw can be watched live on the FIBA YouTube channel at 1 p.m. local time in Germany (1100GMT).
