ATHENS (AA) - Finland summoned the Israeli ambassador in Helsinki over the Israeli gunfire during diplomats’ visit to Jenin in the West Bank on Wednesday, local media reported on Thursday.

Citing Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, public broadcaster YLE reported that Finland demanded an explanation from Israel for this "serious, reprehensible incident."

Finland has also raised concern about the humanitarian situation in Gaza with the ambassador, it added.
