Fire breaks out at Russian oil refinery after drone strike: Emergency Ministry

MOSCOW (AA) - A drone attack triggered a fire at an oil refinery in southern Russia on Friday, the country's Emergency Ministry said.

The Ilsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region was attacked for the second day in a row, the ministry said in a statement.

Firefighters and law enforcement are at work trying to put out the blaze at the site, it said, while early reports indicate no casualties.

Staff at the facility have since been evacuated, said the ministry.
