Formula 1 to travel to UK for 11th race of season

ISTANBUL (AA) – The UK will host the Formula One race for the 11th race of the 2023 season this weekend.

The British Grand Prix will take place in the Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire-olk45 County, the East Midlands, where racers will do 52 laps on a 5.9-kilometer (3.6-mile) track.

The race will start at 1400GMT on Sunday and a qualifying session will take place on Saturday.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen won seven Grands Prix this season and his teammate Sergio Perez gained two victories.

In May, the Formula One canceled the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, the six race of the season, due to serious flooding that hit northern Italy.
