PKK terrorists detonate device near police station in Bingol, source says

BINGOL, Turkey (AA) - At least four people, including two police officers and a child were injured in a bomb attack in eastern Turkey’s Bingol province on Wednesday, according to security sources.
The sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Anadolu Agency PKK terrorists detonated a device near a police station in Bingol’s Kultur neighborhood.
Bingol saw two other PKK attacks this week in which two police officers and one soldier were martyred.
Operations in the district are currently underway to find the assailants, the sources added.
The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU. It resumed its 30-year armed campaign against the Turkish state in July 2015.
Since then, PKK terrorist attacks have martyred more than 700 security personnel and also claimed the lives of many civilians, including women and children, while more than 8,000 PKK terrorists were killed in military operations.
