Dassault, also a conservative politician, dies at age of 93

PARIS (AA) - Serge Dassault, a French billionaire, owner of France's Le Figaro newspaper and military jet maker Dassault, has died in his Paris office after suffering heart problems, his family announced on Monday.
Dassault, a conservative politician and France's third wealthiest person, with a net worth estimated by Forbes magazine of €13.3 billion (US$14.8 billion ), died at the age of 93 in his office on the Champs-Elysees on Monday afternoon, his family said.
"The family and the Dassault group will communicate shortly about the modalities for paying homage to Mr Serge Dassault," said the statement from the family sent by his company's press office.
French president Emmanuel Macron said: "France loses a man who has dedicated his life to developing a flagship of French industry."
