Boubakary Soumare joins Foxes on 5-year deal, says Premiere League club

ISTANBUL (AA) - French midfielder Boubakary Soumare has signed a five-year deal to join Leicester City, the Premier League club announced on Friday.

"Leicester City is delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder Boubakary Soumare from Ligue 1 champions Lille for an undisclosed fee, subject to Premier League and international clearance," the Foxes said in a statement.

Soumare, 22, began his career with Paris FC, spending five years with the club before joining the PSG Youth Academy in 2011.

He made 40 appearances in all competitions for Lille last season, including eight UEFA Europa League games as he helped Les Dogues to win the Ligue 1 title.

French midfielder played a total of 112 games in all competitions for Lille.
