TBILISI (AA) - The Georgian and Israeli presidents have agreed Monday to further enhance bilateral relations during a visit to Tbilisi.

In a joint news conference in Tbilisi with his Israeli counterpart Reuven Rivlin on Monday, Giorgi Margvelashvili said cooperation between the two countries should be strengthened in several fields, particularly trade and tourism.

Rivlin's two-day visit coincided with the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Israel.

Margvelashvili invited Israeli entrepreneurs to invest in Georgia, especially in the fields of renewable energy, agriculture and industry.

He voiced concern over the killing of four Israeli soldiers after a truck rammed into pedestrians in Jerusalem on Sunday.

Margvelashvili said he believed cooperation between "well-intentioned" nations will lead to "effective" solutions to fight terror.

Rivlin added: "Terror will never win."

Margvelashvili also thanked Rivlin for Israeli support for Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
