Georgia’s prime minister to visit Turkey Thursday

ANKARA (AA) - Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia will visit Turkey on Thursday, according to the Turkish Communications Directorate.

In a statement, the directorate said Gakharia’s first official visit to Turkey after taking office would take place at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

During his visit, the entire spectrum of bilateral relations between Turkey and Georgia will be discussed along with the steps that can be taken to improve cooperation between two countries.

The two sides are also expected to exchange ideas on regional and international developments.
