Hernangomez rallies Spain to EuroBasket 2022 quarterfinal win against Finland

Willy Hernangomez drops 27 points, gets 5 rebounds against Finland in 100-90 victory

ANKARA (AA) – Spain rallied past Finland 100-90 for a EuroBasket 2022 quarterfinal victory on Tuesday.

Willy Hernangomez dropped 27 points and got five rebounds, while his brother Juancho Hernangomez scored 15 points against Finland in Berlin.

Lauri Markkanen's 28 points and 11 rebounds were not enough for Finland to come out on top.

Spain will take on the winner of the Germany-Greece quarterfinal match, which will be held on Tuesday as well.

In the other quarterfinal matches, Slovenia will face Poland and France will play against Italy on Wednesday.

The semifinals will be played on Sept. 16 and the final will be held on Sept. 18, all at EuroBasket Arena Berlin.
