SANAA, Yemen / US warplanes launched at least 26 more airstrikes across Yemen, the Houthi group said on Tuesday.
Two airstrikes targeted the central Marib province, and three others in Al-Jawaf province in northern Yemen, the Houthi-affiliated 26 September news website reported.
The attacks came hours after warplanes carried out six strikes in the coastal Al-Hudaydah province on Monday night and 15 others in Marib.
No information was yet available about casualties.
There has been no official statement from Washington regarding the latest strikes as of the time of publication.
US airstrikes have killed at least 123 civilians since March 15, and injured 247, mostly children and women, based on Houthi data monitored by Anadolu. The casualties exclude losses for the group’s fighters.
US President Donald Trump said last month that he ordered “decisive and powerful military action” against the Houthis and later threatened to “completely annihilate them.”
The Houthis have targeted ships in the Red and Arabian seas, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden since November 2023 in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, where Israel has killed at least 51,000 victims in a brutal onslaught.
The group halted attacks when a ceasefire in Gaza was declared in January between Israel and the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, but resumed the assaults after Israel renewed airstrikes on the enclave last month after breaking the ceasefire.
