Findings come following last month's Air India crash in western Gujarat state, which killed 260

ISTANBUL (AA) - India said in a report on Wednesday that 263 aviation lapses were found over the last year, including those at eight airlines.
The audit report from India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation states that 19 of the lapses require immediate corrective action, according to the Press Trust of India.
The watchdog discovered 93 audit findings involving Air India, its merged company, Vistara, and Air India Express.
The directorate, on the other hand, said the number of findings or lapses at large airlines is "entirely normal."
The findings follow last month's Air India crash in Gujarat, western India, which killed 260 people.
On June 12, after crashing in western Gujarat state, the plane bound for the UK collided with several buildings.
The passengers included 169 Indian nationals, 53 British nationals, seven Portuguese, and one Canadian.
One passenger survived the crash by jumping out of the plane.
