ANKARA (AA) - Inter Milan will take on rivals AC Milan in the Supercoppa Italiana (Italian Super Cup) game on Wednesday.
The reigning Supercoppa champions and 2022 Coppa Italia winner Nerazzuri will face the 2022 Serie A champions Rossoneri for their 7th Supercoppa title, to level with their rivals, at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.
Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku and Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic are doubtful for the upcoming clash in the Inter Milan squad.
AC Milan's veteran star Zlatan Ibrahimovic underwent a knee surgery and will be unavailable, while Croatian winger Ante Rebic's presence is also doubtful.
The Supercoppa Italiana, which started in 1988, is an annual football match played between the winners of the Serie A and the Coppa Italia in the previous season. Juventus have won the cup nine times.
