‘Time for their serious decisions’ Iran’s top nuclear negotiator says

ANKARA (AA) - Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator Ali Bagheri Kani said Wednesday that his country was close to a final agreement as talks continue in Vienna.
“After weeks of intensive talks, we are closer than ever to an agreement,” Kani said on social media.
However, he warned: “Nothing is agreed until everything is agreed, though.”
He urged negotiating partners to be realistic, avoid intransigence and heed lessons from the past four years.
“Time for their serious decisions,” he said.
Negotiations are being held with high-level participation from Russia, China, Germany, France, the UK and Iran.
The US is indirectly involved as Washington unilaterally withdrew from a nuclear deal in 2018 during the administration of former President Donald Trump.
The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action was signed in 2015 with Tehran and world powers that ensured Iran’s nuclear program was peaceful.
