Israel detains 2 Palestinian children in West Bank raids

RAMALLAH, Palestine - Israeli forces detained two Palestinian children during raids conducted in various locations across the occupied West Bank on Saturday, Wafa news agency reported.

Ubade Gassan Azim and Zayd Nur Ferhat were detained in a raid on a village in Nablus.

Israeli forces also used sound bombs and tear gas during a raid in a town near the city of Hebron.

Israel has occupied the West Bank since 1967 and carries out regular raids against Palestinians.

Since Jan. 21, Israeli forces have targeted Palestinian refugee camps in the northern West Bank including Jenin.
