Israel kills 10 Palestinians in attacks on Gaza

8 killed in airstrike on home in Khan Younis, 2 in enclave's northern part

ANKARA (AA) - At least 10 Palestinians were killed on Friday as Israeli airstrikes targeted parts of the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.

Israeli forces struck a home in the city of Khan Younis, killing eight Palestinians.

In northern Gaza, two civilians were killed in a separate strike that targeted a gathering of residents in the Al-Atatra area, north of Beit Lahia.

The Israeli army renewed its assault on Gaza on March 18, shattering the Jan. 19 ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement.

More than 50,800 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in Gaza since the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas attacks. The military campaign has left the enclave in ruins and rendered it almost uninhabitable.
