Israel reports alleged knife attack in Jerusalem

JERUSALEM (AA) – An Israeli settler was injured in a suspected stabbing attack in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, according to police.

In a statement, police said a settler was allegedly stabbed with a screwdriver by a Palestinian riding a bus in Ramot Junction in northeastern Jerusalem.

Police said the attacker was shot and neutralized, without specifying if he was killed.

No further details were provided about the incident and there was no Palestinian comment on the report.
