Some Iranian media reports say missile was launched from Yemen, but this hasn’t been confirmed

ISTANBUL (AA) - The Israeli army announced early Monday that it intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Iran.
Earlier, sirens sounded across central Israel following the missile launch, the army said.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Initial reports claimed that Iran launched a new wave of strikes against Israel, but Iran’s semi-official Mehr News Agency and Fars News Agency reported that the missile fired toward Israel was launched from Yemen.
There has been no confirmation from either Yemen’s Houthi group or Israeli sources.
Iranian media earlier reported Israeli airstrikes targeting Iran’s Parchin military complex.
The strike came in the latest escalation in a US-backed Israeli military assault on Iran since June 13, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory attacks on Israel.
Israeli authorities said at least 25 people have been killed and hundreds injured since then in Iranian missile attacks.
Meanwhile, in Iran, at least 430 people have been killed and more than 3,500 wounded in the Israeli assault, according to the Iranian Health Ministry.
