Israeli forces arrest 3 Palestinian students in W. Bank

RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) – Israeli forces detained three Palestinian students from the campus of Birzeit University in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, according to a Hamas-affiliated student bloc.

An Israeli force broke into the campus at dawn and arrested the three students, the Islamic Bloc said in a statement.

It said the three students were staging a sit-in protest of attempts by Palestinian security forces to arrest them in connection with their activities.

There was no comment from either the Israeli military or the Palestinian Authority-affiliated security agencies on the report.
