Israeli PM's family receives another death threat
2nd threat letter sent to Naftali Bennett's family in one week
By Yousef Ibrahim
ISTANBUL (AA) – The family of Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has received another death threat in an envelope that contained a bullet, according to Israeli media on Thursday.
The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation network (KAN) said the target of the threat letter was Bennett's 17-year-old son Yoni.
The incident is being investigated by Israeli police and the Shin Bet public security service to identify the source of the threat letter, the broadcaster said.
Last week, a threat letter that included a bullet was sent to Bennett's home, forcing the Israeli security authorities to impose further protection procedures on the prime minister’s family.
"Political conflict, no matter how profound, should not reach violence, bullying and death threats,” Bennett tweeted commenting on the first threat letter.
