JERUSALEM (AA) – Israel's domestic intelligence agency Shin Bet said Sunday that a Hamas cell suspected of being involved in a bus bombing in Jerusalem was arrested in a joint-operation with the Israeli police and military.
A statement from Shin Bet said six Palestinians were arrested from the Bethlehem area of the occupied West Bank and claimed they were planning more attacks against Israelis.
The group was allegedly involved in planning and making the bomb used in an April attack that injured 19 people and led to the alleged bomber Abd al-Hamid Abu Srour, 19, dying from burn wounds.
