ATHENS (AA) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu briefed his Greek counterpart Friday on his recent visit to Washington.
“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke today with the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and updated him on his diplomatic visit to Washington,” the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office wrote on X.
“The two leaders discussed the regional state of affairs and steps to strengthen cooperation between Israel and Greece,” it added.
US President Donald Trump said Monday that he told Netanyahu he "has to be reasonable" with disputes he has with Türkiye, as the American president lauded his relationship with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
"Any problem that you have with Turkey, I think I can solve. I mean, as long as you're reasonable, you have to be reasonable. We have to be reasonable," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office as he hosted Netanyahu, using an older English word for Türkiye.
