Istanbul bridges to mark Pakistan National Day

ANKARA (AA) - Bridges connecting Asia and Europe in Istanbul will mark the Pakistani National Day on March 23, by illuminating the country’s flag colors on them, according to the Pakistani Embassy in capital Ankara.

In a written statement, the embassy said Turkey and Pakistan enjoy exemplary friendly relations.

“The Embassy of Pakistan deeply appreciates the Turkish government’s friendly gesture to commemorate the National Day of Pakistan in Turkey,” it said.

Also on March 23, the “Solo Turk” aerial acrobatic team and T-129 ATAK helicopters of Turkey will participate in a fly-past ceremony in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, it added.
