Istanbul hosts artificial intelligence summit

ISTANBUL (AA) - The Turkish Artificial Intelligence Summit kicked off on Thursday in the Turkish metropolis Istanbul.

Organized by the Turkish Artificial Intelligence Initiative (TRAI), the event brings together private sector representatives, experts, investors, and decision-makers.

The three-day event, under the main theme “Everything Starts with a Question," is handling hot issues concerning AI, such as productive AI's industrial integration.

Halil Aksu, the head of the initiative, said at the opening ceremony that there are many areas where AI equipped with a lot of data can be used, and that this is one of the areas that large companies are particularly focused on.

Stating that there are endless opportunities in the field of AI, he said: "Robots, cameras, and AI can now do most of what we do with our eyes and ears, what we do with our hands."
