Juventus start Italian Serie A season with home win

ANKARA (AA) - Juventus beat Sassuolo 3-0 to make a good start to the 2022-23 Italian Serie A season.

In the 26th minute, the home team's new signing Angel Di Maria scored a left-footed volley to give Juventus a 1-0 lead at Allianz Stadium.

Serbian forward Dusan Vlahovic scored from the penalty spot before the break as Juventus led the first half 2-0.

Vlahovic finished in the box to make it 3-0 for Juventus in the 51st minute.

Juventus bagged three points to come second in the league table after leaders Napoli.
