Karmod installs prefabricated mobilization units for Bishkek arena project

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish modular construction company Karmod said on Wednesday that it has installed prefabricated mobilization units for a stadium under construction in Kyrgyzstan, which is set to become Central Asia’s largest upon completion.

The company said the arena project in the capital Bishkek is expected to have a seating capacity of 51,000.

Karmod Prefabricated General Manager Ugur Kadir said the company is frequently selected for worker mobilization structures at large-scale projects worldwide.

“Karmod’s approach to site mobilization is built around three core pillars, he said, adding that these include “structural safety and ergonomic design, fast-track production systems, and strong on-site organization.”

“Structural safety and ergonomic use are planned in our technical offices by specialized teams,” Kadir said, adding: “We support our planning with the selection of the most suitable quality materials for each project. We achieve production speed through investment in advanced technologies and new machinery. Our expert field teams complete on-site organization on schedule and deliver the buildings for use by project personnel.”

He noted that the company aims to provide high value-added site structures by combining safety, ergonomics and fast installation, offering workers living spaces with home-like comfort while improving efficiency and saving time for project investors.

For the Bishkek Arena project, Karmod installed two prefabricated dormitory blocks, each measuring 650 square meters (7,000 square feet), for a total of 1,300 square meters.

“We shipped the structures to Kyrgyzstan with 10 trucks and completed installation within 25 days,” Kadir said.

“The buildings, which have an accommodation capacity of 200 people, will serve as worker dormitories during construction of the stadium,” he noted.
