Konyaspor eliminated from UEFA Europa Conference League

Liechtenstein's Vaduz passes Turkish football side with 5-3 aggregate victory

ISTANBUL (AA) - Konyaspor was eliminated from the Europa Conference League on Thursday after losing to Liechtenstein's Vaduz with a 5-3 aggregate score.

The visiting side found four goals with Cedric Gasser (2), Manuel Sutter, and Tunahan Cicek at the Konya Buyuksehir Belediyesi Stadium.

In the second-leg match, Arabam.com Konyaspor's two goals came from Guilherme in a penalty kick and Amir Hadziahmetovic.

In another Conference League clash, Medipol Basaksehir made it to the playoffs with a 6-1 aggregate win after beating Iceland's Breidablik 3-0 in the second leg.

Stefano Okaka, Ahmed Touba, and Danije Aleksic scored for Basaksehir in the second-leg game at Istanbul Fatih Terim Stadium.
