Kuwait says its air defenses intercepted hostile aerial targets over central region
Defense Ministry says no injuries reported; armed forces remain at full readiness

ISTANBUL (AA) – Kuwait’s air defense forces intercepted several hostile “aerial targets” early Monday over central parts of the country, according to the official Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Defense Ministry spokesperson Col. Saud Al-Otaibi said the targets were detected and intercepted within the operational zone as part of the armed forces’ full readiness to safeguard national airspace.
No injuries were reported.
He added that the armed forces continue carrying out their duties and stand ready to respond to any potential developments to ensure the country’s security and stability.
