KUWAIT CITY (AA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s upcoming visit to Kuwait would be of “great importance” under current circumstances, a Kuwaiti minister said.
Erdogan, who is currently on a visit to Russia, will meet Kuwaiti leaders in the capital Kuwait City on Tuesday.
Speaking at a news conference following the Cabinet meeting, Kuwaiti Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah said Erdogan's visit would provide an opportunity to exchange views on common issues.
According to a Turkish presidential press office announcement on Saturday, Erdogan would pay official visit to Russia, Kuwait and Qatar from Nov. 13-15.
Regional and international developments as well as bilateral relations between Turkey and the Gulf countries would be discussed in detail, the statement added.
