Citizens raise points to 35, keep chase of leaders Arsenal

ANKARA (AA) - Manchester City beat Leeds United 3-1 on Wednesday in an English Premier League Week 17 match.

The first half seemed destined to end goalless until Manchester City midfielder Rodri found the net in the 46th minute at Elland Road in Leeds.

The Citizens picked up where they left off in the second half when Norwegian star Erling Haaland scored in the 51st minute.

Haaland netted again in minute 64 to score his 20th goal in the league and give a 3-goal lead to his team.

Pascal Struijk brought one back for Leeds with his header in the 73rd minute.

The Citizens raised their points to 35 and kept their chase of leaders Arsenal, who has 40 points.

Leeds United is in the 15th spot in the table with 15 points.
