Manchester City eliminate Arsenal to qualify for 5th round in FA Cup

Nathan Ake scores winning goal in 64th minute as Man City get 1-0 win against Arsenal

ANKARA (AA) - Manchester City eliminated Arsenal 1-0 on Friday to qualify for the fifth round in the FA Cup.

Home team Manchester City's Dutch defender Nathan Ake broke the deadlock in the 64th minute at Etihad Stadium.

Ake's right-footed strike in the Arsenal penalty area beat Gunners goalkeeper Matt Turner and was the winning goal.

English clubs will play FA Cup fourth round fixtures this weekend. There will not be any English Premier League matches until Feb. 3.
