Meghan Markle’s podcast ‘paused’ for queen’s mourning period

ANKARA (AA) - Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has put her Spotify podcast Archetypes on hold following last week’s death of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II.

“New episodes of Archetypes will be paused during the official mourning period for Her Majesty The Queen,” said a message on the podcast’s home page.

After leaving the royal family, Meghan, the duchess of Sussex, and her husband Prince Harry signed multi-million-dollar agreements with Spotify and Netflix.

Although no new content came from the couple for Netflix yet, Markle released her podcast after over two years of the agreement with Spotify.

In the first three episodes, Markle’s Archetypes investigated the stereotypes women are placed into, including ambitious, diva, and singleton. Her weekly podcast release new episodes every Tuesday.

Meghan and Harry are at odds with the family since their departure from royal life.

Markle claimed in an interview with Oprah Winfrey last year that an unnamed member of the royal family made racist comments about the skin color of her son, Archie.

However, the couple was invited by Prince of Wales William on Saturday to join him and his wife, Princess Kate, to see floral tributes at Windsor Castle for the late queen.
