Moroccan bikers go missing in Burkina Faso

Moroccan bikers Abd al-Rahman al-Sarhani, Idriss Fitaihi have been missing in Burkina Faso for over a month

RABAT, Morocco (AA) – A Moroccan bikers association is urging authorities to take action to find two Moroccan bikers who have been missing for over a month in Burkina Faso.

Moroccan bikers Abd al-Rahman al-Sarhani and Idriss Fitaihi went missing in the landlocked West African country, according to a statement this week by Touring Bike Association Souss Massa.

The group urged the Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Ministry to make inquiries with Burkina Faso.

In a video posted online on March 29, Idriss Fitaihi, one of the missing bikers, said they would cross north from Ivory Coast to Burkina Faso.

There has been no statement on the matter yet from Moroccan authorities.
