Multiple blasts rock Afghan capital Kabul

KABUL, Afghanistan (AA) - Multiple blasts and gunfire on Wednesday rocked Kabul, triggering panic among the people in the war-ravaged capital.

Hashmat Stanikzai, spokesman for the Afghan National Police in Kabul, told Anadolu Agency the explosions took place at Police Station 13 in western Dasht-e-Barchi neighborhood and close to Police Station 10 in Shahr-e-Nau area of the city.

According to the local Ariana News, armed clashes among the attackers and the security forces were underway.

There has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
