JERUSALEM (AA) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene a meeting of his Security Cabinet on Saturday evening in a secret underground bunker to discuss the ongoing confrontation with Iran, Channel 13 reported, citing official sources.
Some ministers and members of the Israeli political leadership have been sleeping in secret underground locations since Friday, in anticipation of possible Iranian missile strikes, the broadcaster said.
Iran is expected to resume its missile barrages Saturday evening, as part of its military response to the Israeli assault that began at dawn on Friday, Israeli Army Radio reported earlier.
