New home sales in US down in December 2025
Median sales price of new homes at $414,400, down 2% year-on-year

ISTANBUL (AA) - New home sales in the US fell by 1.7% in December last year, still above expectations, the US Department of Commerce announced on Friday.
According to the data, the number of new home sales in the country dropped to 745,000 unites in December last year, while market expectations were for 732,000.
New home sales were recorded at 758,000 in November 2025.
On a yearly basis, in the US, new home sales increased by 3.8% in December last year.
The median sales price of new homes sold in the US in December last year was $414,400, with a 2% decrease on an annual basis.
