Olympiacos Piraeus reach semifinals in EuroLeague

Greek team make playoff series 3-2 to take on Anadolu Efes in Final Four

ANKARA (AA) - Olympiacos Piraeus reached the semifinals of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague by making the playoff series 3-2 after beating AS Monaco 94-88 on Wednesday.

Shaquielle McKissic and Thomas Walkup led the Greek team to victory with 18 and 17 points respectively at the Peace And Friendship Stadium in Pireaus, Greece.

Mike James' 24 points and 10 assists were not enough for AS Monaco to grab victory.

Olympiacos Piraeus will take on reigning champions Anadolu Efes in the Final Four round, which will be held in Belgrade, Serbia on May 19-21. Barcelona will play against rivals Real Madrid in the other semifinal match.
