Pakistani media delegation visits Anadolu Agency

ANKARA (AA) - A Pakistani media delegation visited Anadolu Agency headquarters in Ankara on Monday.

The visit was part of a program arranged by Pakistan’s Information Ministry in association with its embassy in Ankara, to boost coordination between news organizations in the two countries.

Members of the delegation included officials from the information ministry, news presenters and editors.

The delegation was welcomed by Anadolu Agency's deputy director-general and editor-in-chief, Mustafa Ozkaya.

Ozkaya said the agency wishes to be more active in the sub-continent through its office in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad.

He added: “Pakistan is a very important country for Turkey and the region.”

Opportunities for cooperation between Anadolu Agency and the Pakistani press were also discussed during the meeting.
