Palestinian teenager killed by Israeli fire in Jenin

RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) – A Palestinian teenager was killed in an Israeli military raid in the West Bank city of Jenin on Sunday, according to the Health Ministry.

A ministry statement said Radwan Waked, 14, was seriously injured by Israeli fire in Jenin and later died of his wounds.

According to witnesses, Israeli forces raided the Jabriyat neighborhood in Jenin and surrounded a house, triggering clashes with stone-throwing residents.

Israeli public broadcaster KAN said a Palestinian suspect was detained during the raid.

An Israeli military statement said a Palestinian was arrested for his alleged involvement in snatching the body of an Israeli settler, who was killed in a car crash in November 2022.

The statement said the suspect was also involved in attacks on Israeli forces and in planning further attacks.
