Several Palestinians were wounded during the Israeli army's raids in the occupied West Bank on Friday evening.
According to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa, the Israeli army raided Al-Khader town, near Bethlehem city, in the central West Bank, triggering clashes with Palestinians.
The Israeli army fired tear gas canisters, resulting in several asphyxiation cases.
The Israeli army also raided Beita town, east of Nablus city, in the northern West Bank, prompting clashes with the residents.
One Palestinian was injured by live bullets and was transferred to hospital, the Palestinian news agency added.
It also reported another raid by the Israeli army into the village of Faqqu'a, near Jenin city, where the army fired tear gas canisters.
Tensions have been high in the West Bank since the Israeli war on Gaza, killing at least 947 Palestinians and injuring over 7,000 others since October 2023, according to Palestinian figures.
In July 2024, the International Court of Justice declared Israel's decades-long occupation of Palestinian land illegal and demanded the evacuation of all existing settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
