PKK terrorist detained near Syrian border while attempting to enter Türkiye

SANLIURFA (AA) - In Türkiye's southeastern Sanliurfa province, a terrorist from the PKK/PYD group was apprehended while he was attempting to cross the border from Syria.

Following information that a terrorist might try to enter the country from Syria, security measures were stepped up.

The suspect was identified by the security forces as a PKK/PYD member.

The terrorist was questioned after undergoing health checks.
