PM calls for support of Turkey to fight terrorism
Yildirim and Danish counterpart Rasmussen confirm improved cooperation in fight against terrorism

ISTANBUL (AA) - The Turkish premier has said support to his country in its fight against terrorist organizations would contribute to the global fight against terror.
Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, naming PKK, PYD, Daesh, and the Fetullah Terror Organization (FETO) as the main terrorist groups that Turkey has to fight simultaneously, said "support to Turkey will contribute to all counterterrorism efforts."
Speaking Saturday at a joint news conference with his Danish counterpart Lars Lokke Rasmussen in the capital Ankara, Yildirim said: "Turkey and Denmark hold the same opinion that there is more need today than yesterday for an international cooperation in the fight against terrorism."
He praised the "ongoing positive cooperation against terrorism" and said it was a nice step that the independent courts of Denmark suspended the PKK-linked Roj TV's broadcasting license back in February 2014.
Denmark's Court of Appeal found ROJ TV and its parent company guilty of terrorism and ruled to have broadcasts cease.
The two leaders also discussed other matters such as the migrant crisis, Syria, Turkey's EU bid and relations with Russia, Yildirim said.
"We are united in our fight against Daesh," the Danish PM added.
Rasmussen said he would visit Danish soldiers, who are deployed at the Incirlik airbase in southern Turkey to help fight Daesh.
