Police seize 5 tons of smuggled oil in Turkey
Truck carrying smuggled oil seized in northwestern Tekirdag province

TEKIRDAG, Turkey (AA) – Turkish police confiscated 5 tons (over 11000 pounds) of smuggled oil in the northwestern Tekirdag province, local authorities said.
Local police forces stopped a truck on the highway after it was suspected of smuggling oil.
With oil confiscated, the truck was also seized.
