Pro-Palestine group targets trade association in London over 'lobbying for Israeli defense firm'

LONDON (AA) - Pro-Palestine activists from the Palestine Action group on Tuesday targeted ADS Group's London office, accusing it of lobbying parliament on behalf of Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest weapons firm.

The group, known for its direct actions against arms factories across the UK that supply military equipment to Israel, said on X that they targeted ADS Group in London.

"On behalf of Elbit Systems, ADS lobby Parliament and give the firm access to buyers of their Israeli weapons which are tested on Palestinians," it said on X.

Photos from the protest showed blood-red paint were sprayed onto the entrance and the wall of the office, "Free Gaza" was also written on the building.

Israel has killed more than 52,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in Gaza since October 2023.

In September, the UK suspended 30 existing arms licenses because of a “clear risk” they might be used to violate international humanitarian law.
