Real Madrid sweep Maccabi to advance to Final Four, Anadolu Efes lead 2-1 against Milan

ANKARA (AA) - Real Madrid became the first team to advance to the Final Four, after getting their third victory in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague playoff series with 87-76 against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv on Tuesday.

Sergio Llull became the top scorer of the Spanish team while his team mate Guerschon Yabusele contributed with 16 points at Menora Mivtachim Arena in Tel Aviv.

The Spaniards will have to wait for the other playoff matches to conclude for their Final Four rival to be determined.

- Anadolu Efes lead playoffs 2-1

In the other playoff game of Tuesday, Anadolu Efes beat AX Armani Exchange Milan 77-65 in Round 3 game of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague playoffs on Tuesday.

The Istanbul team now lead the playoffs 2-1 in the series against the Milan team.

Efes' Vasilije Micic dropped 20 points while his teammates Tibor Pleiss and Shane Larkin contributed with 17 and 16 points respectively at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall in Istanbul.

Devon Hall scored 16 points for AX Armani Exchange Milan.

The games will conclude May 4.

Teams with three wins in the series will reach the Final Four round which will be played in Belgrade, Serbia on May 19-21.
